HISTORY
Carrot was domesticated in the 10th century in Iran, but at that time it was purple or yellow. The orange cultivated carrot comes from a later domestication in the 17th century in the Netherlands and is rich in beta-carotene.
ORIGIN
Siprès wild carrot macerate is produced near Mont Ventoux, on a family farm that has specialized in the production and distillation of local aromatic and medicinal plants for five generations.
EXTRACTION
The carrot macerate is made by our producer, who after harvesting the carrots carries out a solar maceration in French organic high-oleic sunflower oil.
