A STORY OF SKIN. AND OF CONVICTION.
After several years working as a corporate lawyer, one thing became clear to me: far too few businesses truly integrate environmental awareness into their model.
Convinced that a business should have a positive impact on society, on nature and on people, I decided to move to the other side of the table — and become one of the people building projects.
At the time, while looking for solutions to soothe my atopic skin, I began analysing the ingredient lists of the skincare products I was using every day. And one thing struck me: despite their reassuring image, many pharmacy skincare products are still largely formulated with petrochemical ingredients that are neither respectful of the skin nor of the planet.
That is when I turned to natural skincare — a more demanding approach, but one far more aligned with my values. Yet a paradox quickly became clear: even in locally made products, the raw ingredients often come from the other side of the world.
THE BIRTH OF SIPRÈS
In 2018, the idea for Siprès began to take shape:
to create a range of skincare products made with 100 percent naturally derived ingredients, with impeccable formulas, rich in local plant-based actives, and developed in the spirit of slow cosmetics — to respect the skin’s balance just as much as the planet’s.
In 2019, I set out to meet passionate growers and producers in Belgium and France. On the ground, my belief was confirmed: our local agriculture is full of powerful natural ingredients, perfectly suited to skincare.
I then trained in aromatherapy and cosmetic formulation.
The first Siprès products came to life in 2020.
Then, in 2023 and 2025, Gaston and Apolline were born ♥️. My children have given even more meaning to what I do today. As a young mother, I know how essential it is to develop products you can trust completely, at every stage of life.
THE ESSENCE OF SIPRÈS
The name Siprès expresses the very essence of the brand:
- Skincare so close to your skin’s needs — to cleanse, hydrate and protect.
- Skincare so close to nature and to the people who cultivate it.
Fresh plant oils, sourced directly from Belgian and French agriculture, lie at the heart of our formulas. Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and micronutrients, they have a natural lipid affinity with the skin and help strengthen the skin barrier over time.
The name also echoes the cypress tree, an emblem of Provence and a symbol of durability and renewal. It reflects our vision: beauty rooted in time, and respectful of all living things.
In natural skincare, the quality of raw materials makes all the difference. It is what ensures products that are healthy, effective and respectful of the skin.
