Quick and effective, this recipe only takes a few minutes to make. I find powder laundry detergent ideal for washing white laundry at a minimum of 40°C ideally 60°C. For washing laundry at 30°C or below, use the liquid detergent recipe instead, as the powder may not dissolve enough and could leave soap marks on your clothes.
INGREDIENTS
- 400 g green Marseille soap flakes
- 400 g baking soda
- 200 g anhydrous sodium carbonate
- 500 g sodium percarbonate
EQUIPMENT
- Blender
- Kitchen scale
- Airtight recycled container glass or plastic, not metal because the recipe contains sodium percarbonate
RECIPE
Put the Marseille soap flakes in the blender and blend. Add the baking soda, sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate, then blend again. That’s it. Do not forget to label your container.
DOSAGE
For a 5 to 7 kg machine: 3 tablespoons around 45 g placed in a recycled detergent cap, then put directly into the drum of the machine.
