For this body scrub, I chose to use upcycled fruit seed powders instead of sugar or salt, which are commonly found in natural scrubs.
I prefer these exfoliating powders for three reasons: they allow me to precisely control the grain size for effective yet gentle exfoliation, they do not dissolve upon contact with water — preventing product waste — and they fit within a more responsible upcycling approach. Plum pits from Agen and grape pomace are recovered and finely ground to give them a second life.
To make the experience even more sensorial, I created a melting balm texture that transforms upon contact with wet skin. The massage becomes a true skincare ritual, exfoliating while respecting the skin barrier and leaving the skin soft, supple, and comfortable after rinsing.
